The Inter-Collegiate Sports competition at Fountain University, Osogbo, kicked off with a bang on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, under the sponsorship of Alhaja Jemilat Ayinla. The spotlight was on the intense football matches, with Team COBMEHS securing a convincing 4-2 victory over Team COMAS in a clash that set the stage for an exciting series of sporting events.

On day two, Thursday, December 14, the football fever continued as Team COLAW emerged victorious in a nail-biting penalty shootout against Team CONAS, securing a 4-3 win. The drama unfolded, showcasing the resilience and determination of the participating players.

Moving to day three, Friday, December 15, the Lawn Tennis events witnessed Team COLAW dominating, claiming the top position with skill and strategic finesse. The competition fostered sportsmanship and unity among the colleges, with Team COMAS securing second place and Team CONAS clinching the third spot.

In a parallel event, the Alhaja Jamila Ayinla Sports Competition witnessed Team COMAS excelling in the javelin event, becoming undisputed champions. The competition not only highlighted individual talents but also promoted camaraderie and healthy competition. Sunday, December 17, marked the commencement of athletics events, where a representative of COMAS showcased exceptional speed, crossing the finish line with a time of (include time), setting the tone for a season of spirited competition and sportsmanship.

Monday December 18 saw Team COMAS triumphing in the Basketball event, showcasing exceptional teamwork and strategic plays. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as fans cheered for their respective colleges, making the basketball event a memorable highlight. On Tuesday, December 19, Team COBMEHS dominated the Volleyball events, securing a commendable win in a thrilling clash against Team COMAS. The match, marked by powerful spikes and solid defense, left an indelible mark on the event.

The Alhaja Jemilat Ayinla Sports Extravaganza not only celebrated athletic achievement but also united the Fountain University community through the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
